The Opportunity
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Senior Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and analysing underwriting and technical data.

Key Responsibilities
Process London Market Insurance underwriting data in line with the applicable procedure guides.
Analyse technical data and calculate technical transactions including limits, premiums and deductions.
Manage internal and external queries to facilitate the accuracy and efficiency of data processing.
Provide effective training, support and guidance to team members.
Organise documentation for data processing.
Contribute to the production of internal and external (client) reporting.
Key Performance Indicators
Process insurance underwriting data on a timely and accurate basis adhering to the applicable:
- benchmark standards
- accuracy targets
- contractual Service Level Agreements per client / service
Operate in line with the flexible working guidelines to accommodate seasonal peaks and troughs.
Take responsibility and ownership of personal development seeking opportunities to develop knowledge and competence.
Experience & Skills
Previous relevant experience in a similar role
Certificate in Insurance is desirable
Attention to detail with focus on service delivery and client experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate with team members to provide effective feedback.
Able to provide effective training, support and guidance to team members.
Good planning and organisation skills.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Good knowledge of the insurance market, structure, practice and regulation.
Demonstrated understanding and experience of direct and reinsurance placements is desirable.
Able to interpret insurance documentation / data
Minimum 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 and above including Maths and English Language.
Willing to study for the relevant CII qualifications.
